With today being the National Day of Prayer, let’s take a look at this very familiar and powerful verse out of the Expanded Bible version:
II Chronicles 7:14 –
“Then IF my people, who are called by my name [belong to me], will humble themselves, IF they will pray and seek me [ my face] and stop their evil ways, I WILL hear them from heaven. I WILL forgive their sin, and I WILL heal [restore] their land.”
While God’s love is unconditional, there are promises that are conditional. If we do, THEN He will!
If ever we needed to see the hand of the Lord move, it’s now! Our country is desperate for miracles. Our hearts need to cry out to our miracle working God. He is ready, willing and able. Waiting for His people to call on Him.
Please take some moments throughout the rest of the day and this evening to pray for God’s mercy, grace and recovery to come to America.
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord!
